Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AlgoStudios ("AlgoStudios", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit algostudios.app and join our waitlist. We keep this short and plain-language on purpose.

1. Who we are

AlgoStudios is an early-stage creator tool operated by NovaKhy LLC. You can reach us any time at khylierobinson@algostudios.app.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us through the waitlist form:

• Your name (optional)
• Your email address
• What you create (optional — e.g. "gaming / streaming", "podcast")

We also collect basic, non-identifying technical information that every website receives automatically, such as your browser type and general region, and aggregate visit analytics from our hosting provider.

3. What we do NOT collect

• Your camera or video is never uploaded. The gesture / hand-tracking demo runs entirely inside your own browser. No frames, images, or recordings from your webcam ever leave your device or reach our servers.
• We do not collect payment information (the waitlist is free and takes no card).
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Add you to the founding-access waitlist;
• Email you about your invite, launch, and founding pricing;
• Understand what kinds of creators are interested, so we build the right product.

We will not send you unrelated marketing, and every email we send includes an easy way to unsubscribe.

5. Where your data is stored

Your waitlist submission is stored securely by our hosting and forms provider, Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), which processes it on our behalf. When our product launches, account data will be stored with our database provider, Supabase. Both are established providers with their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Cookies & local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage for basic functionality only — for example, remembering that you've unlocked the demo and which visual backdrop you picked. This information stays on your device.

7. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the information we hold about you;
• Correct or delete it (we'll remove you from the waitlist on request);
• Unsubscribe from our emails.

Just email khylierobinson@algostudios.app and we'll take care of it, typically within a few days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California); we honor those requests.

8. Data retention

We keep your waitlist information only as long as needed to launch and invite you, or until you ask us to delete it.

9. Children

AlgoStudios is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
